I wish I had known it was canceled before I watched it. So frustrating at the end. I definitely wanted more. Now I gotta make up an ending... they find their mom, she's a hologram, they download her into the device built by tinker so she can take direct control of the building. She is willing to help lead them to the Core World but first they have to rescue their dad who is trapped in a bad part of his private war through the universes. This leads to a deal with the gangster guys that were hunting for the father at the beginning and confronted Ronan at his old house. They take Beatrix hostage and hole up on the 8th floor and demand that the mother's hologram take them to their Earth so they can create their own building and dominate all the parallel Earths. Mother takes them to an Earth that is almost their Earth, but not quite, as a trick, this gets them out of the building but they take Tinker's device with them, effectively stealing the "road map" though they rescue the father in the process. The gangsters corrupt Mother turning her to their cause by the time the rest of the family catches up with them. Polly continues to be hot and sassy triplets throughout, and is secretly the key to restoring Mother to her right mind when they finally rescue the device. They nuke the Gangster world and travel to the Core World which has long since given up its tech for an agrarian lifestyle and mated with some strange people that came down on ships with robots called Cylons. They create a new race of humans and Bob Dylan plays All Along the Watchtower for a bunch of deranged angels. The end.

когдато был подобный сериал на 5 сезонов- скользящие, если кто помнит. тоже перемещались по параллельным мирам с помощью прибора.

Угу, сеттинг очень похожий, но там насколько я помню не было единой сюжетной линии. А тут вроде как обещают, что перемещение по мирам будет не хаотичным. В "Скользящих" - они просто хотели домой вернуться. Кстати, по моему идея скользящих была в свою очередь утянута из "Квантового скачка".
